An Apple a Day

It was a GREAT idea to come to NYC for the weekend. I brought nothing related to work, which is why I'm sitting in the business center of my midtown hotel typing this. Debbie was thrilled to be in "the city" for her 50th birthday and we've done a little bit of everything. Saw "Hairspray", "The Color Purple" and "I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change". Each had it's own charm.

We stumbled upon a street festival this morning and bought touristy sweatshirts since the weather changed and turned cool and breezy. Lovely!

I've had a wonderful rest, lots of fun, and no galleries at all. The only "art" encounter was a visit to MOMA.

Tomorrow we'll enjoy a turn around Central Park before heading to LaGuardia. An email told me that Monday will be a busy day for me. While I've been away my gallery was working on my behalf and another hotel job came through. I don't care about it today, fresh from the vibrant neon streets of the Big Apple, but by Monday morning I'll be ready for it, whatever it is!
