Original Paintings

I have struggled over the content of the last two paintings for the first floor lobby at Texas Clinic. I just could not get straight what they were going to look like. I finally decided to base them on my popular "Categories of Plants" series, adding collage elements referencing Texas. The photo above is the background and basic structure of these two paintings. Mentally, for me they are done and off my schedule.


I've chosen, processed and printed 15 images related to "water" for one display wall at the clinic, and that, too, I've mentally checked off my list. Only a few things left to print, and a last trip to the framer, and I'm done.

Which means I really need to get started on my foam carving project!
