Pastoral Landscape

South Texas Lowland
15" x 38" on canvas

I've spent a lot of time on the Gulf Coast in my life, and this landscape is reminiscent of the area around South Padre, where there's a mixture of mesquite trees, cactus and marsh.

Why did I do it? No reason at all -- just wanted to do something different.

Like it a lot! I'm glad you did something for no reason for a change -- it's good for the soul.

Robin, I really like this painting with clouds that if I could touch, they would feel like cotton. And being a painter myself, I love your use of greens. Reminds me of that flat country scenery back when I lived in Abilene, Texas in the late 1960's. Wonderful painting.
