Two Heads
Alone, it's easier to stay in the path we have created than to venture off, but partnering up with artist friends creates an energy that can't be beat. I say this after spending a week with a like-minded friend. We parted with to-do lists for each of us to follow up on, and promises to provide support to each other when we inevitably start to waver.
And another good friend called today - twice! - with two really good ideas for me. I wouldn't have thought of them on my own, so I thank her, and recognize the importance of shared energy.
I've spent the day alternating between the studio and the two new hard drives I am rapidly filling with new images. It's such a tedious chore, and by no means a permanent solution. Good for now, though. I'm steadily deleting images as I become more discerning.
The photo above shows the American spirit alive and well in Ashton, Idaho.

You are so right about shared energy!! I was with two artist friends yesterday, one of whom has just begun to paint, doing some amazing visionary images.
Since I lent her some of my collected marketing materials, she has created an outline and action plan that any artist would envy! I got some incredible ideas from her just in that meeting.
