Art Hardware
No, not hammers and nails. I am specifically referring to my new monitor and working tablet (Cintiq by Wacom) now living on my desktop. In the first place, the screen is huge (21") which is a remarkable improvement for these old eyes. Second, the resolution is actually lower than the Lacie I replaced, which means that images and type are bigger on this screen, which means more readable.
I haven't actually mastered the use of the stylus, but I'm having a great time learning. I opened a classic Texas landscape photograph of a cotton field with combines in the background. Wonderful image marred by power lines crossing the entire picture frame. I used the pen tool to eliminate them - easily! I can see more hours in this chair in my future. Just what my butt didn't need.
Progress on the new commission: none.
