Red All Over

Finished. I'm very pleased with this painting. It actually measures 78 x 78 -- and I had to use a ladder to paint it. Hard to tell from a small photo like this. Circles at the top are silver leaf over antique book pages (story of Alladin).

Now I can go finish reading the Sunday paper while two coats of matte varnish are drying. I will do the final varnishing in the morning with Golden MSA varnish in high gloss (at the client's request).
