Orange Groves
The landscape of a new place is always interesting to me. Here it is the end of December and there are groves of trees heavy with fruit. Went on a photo shoot yesterday to take advantage of the clear blue sky and perfect light. There were oranges on one side and huge old oaks full of Spanish moss on the other. Then I was lucky enough to catch a field of migrant workers picking strawberries. Much different than the frozen December in New Mexico I had originally planned.
I'm having lunch today with two artist friends who live in the area. Good break from all the family stuff.
