Making Samples

I've been pouring resin. It's a nasty job and I always put it off as long as possible. I did it last night so it would be cured for today when I deliver samples to my client. There's a hotel project that these pieces are perfect for, but they needed samples to show their client.

What I don't understand is why people in this industry who must be visual in order to succeed can't "visualize" a concept without samples? Odd.
