Gardening

It's the time of year in Dallas to plant winter flowerbeds. I bought a combination of dark red and bright yellow pansies. I took a break from painting to work in the yard, then realized that I was doing the same exact thing, only with a different medium. Arranging a garden is just like planning a painting. You consider the size, shape and color of your planting materials. You consider the viewer.

It's just the same.
