This was criticism from a crabby client!

Annette, I'd be thrilled to get a "critique" from you - knowing that you are a fair, knowledgeable, and impartial judge.Walkerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11388484845626485004noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17929547.post-1156428712568268382006-08-24T09:11:00.000-05:002006-08-24T09:11:00.000-05:00I don't seem to run into this problem. Sometimes the critique is only what doesn't work for that/this particular project....it might be great for another one. So, Bah and humbug to that person who should know how to work with artists.CMChttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05946336431994312623noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17929547.post-1156343244297928062006-08-23T09:27:00.000-05:002006-08-23T09:27:00.000-05:00Funny how a good 'critique' can build confidence a...Funny how a good 'critique' can build confidence and excitement -- even when negative things are pointed out. 'Criticism' just makes us react like the kids who are told to wash their dirty hands -- it kills enthusiasm for our efforts.

I sure understand the feeling and the "doing other things." I rarely go in the studio these days.
AAnnette Bushhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11082941974543973655noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17929547.post-1156335847307658102006-08-23T07:24:00.000-05:002006-08-23T07:24:00.000-05:00Yeah. Artists are always vulnerable to that, because of the amount of emotion that gets invested in the work, no matter how hard we try to detach.Martha Marshallhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09754409446056598193noreply@blogger.com
