Purging Part 2

This may be one of the most productive days of my life! Now that I have the studio in a bit more order, I'm charging ahead with -- my image files!

Delete Delete Delete

I don't need 25 views of the same sunset no matter how beautiful it was. I don't need anything blurry - I won't use it as some kind of grunge background for a photomontage I don't even know how to create. I don't need anything under- or over- exposed, because I don't want to spend that much time in Photoshop.

I don't need any of those files I took with a point and shoot camera five years ago. I can't submit any of them for sale, because the files aren't big enough, and besides, they're mostly crummy snapshots, if I'm being honest.

Don't worry, I have a whole separate catalog of "personal" photos that I'll keep no matter what. Except for pictures that make me look fat.

It's only 1:00? Maybe I need a nice cold coffee drink...

I once purged my studio of all the crafty stuff--fabrics and beads and felt and paints and yarns and STUFF. I threw it all in the Blazer, and I took it all down to the Neighbor and her two kids. I told her to give it to the school. Did she do that? Nope.

Now she's getting divorced, and is bringing it ALL back to me this week. Noooooooooo!
