Mobile Art Studio

One of the things that has kept me from traveling more is the lack of a place to paint. I have been asked to housesit numerous times, but with commissions pending I have had to decline. Mentioning this to a friend yesterday, he came up with a very intriguing idea. Create a mobile art studio out of a cargo trailer. My friend had some experience with this since he used a similar setup when he was an artisan working on movies. He took his equipment trailer with him on location.

I have been thinking about this idea. Went to ebay to look at trailers, and found out that they aren't expensive at all. It would take some serious designing to get everything I need mounted in place. But I could even set up a wide-format printer, and I really would be taking my whole studio with me. All I would need after that is a Fedex drop off and I could paint anywhere. Even those commissions that keep me tethered to my studio.

hmmmmmm.....
