Artistic Abundance

I have been a self-supporting artist since I first picked up a paintbrush in 1998. Most of my work now comes from commissions. Everything I paint is sold. That leaves me little time to experiment, to create new compositions, new color combinations, new textures and lines and stories. I first picked up photography as a way to document my paintings, then as an additional design element, and finally I am selling prints on their own. As with painting, I taught myself the basics, then used quantity to teach me the rest. Practice practice practice. Nothing is a better teacher. Like an artist friend used to tell me: You can't paint a tree until you have painted a thousand trees. Thank you Tony Bass.
